Meet John Gibson
John Gibson has devoted more than five decades to the study, collection, and professional evaluation of coins and currency. His work is grounded in a genuine passion for numismatics — the history, artistry, manufacturing, and individuality of collectible coins.
John has been a coin collector since 1967. What began as a personal fascination with the history and craftsmanship of coins grew into a professional calling. Since 1989, he has worked as a numismatic consultant, educator, appraiser, evaluator, and broker — helping collectors and families throughout Arizona understand and make decisions about their collections.
He has been a member of the American Numismatic Association since 1990. He is a past president of the Mesa Coin Club and the founder and current president of the Four Peaks Coin Club, which he established in January 2007.
John's approach is personal and unhurried. He believes that coin collections often carry significance beyond their monetary value — representing family history, personal milestones, and years of careful curation. He brings that understanding to every engagement.
